NordicTrack Commercial VR Recumbent Exercise Bike Review
With the Commercial VR Recumbent, NordicTrack has come up with a heavy duty, commercial gym quality recumbent exercise bike at an in-home workout room price. 
Some of the key features that you get with this recumbent exercise bike are a heavy duty frame with a 350lb weight capacity, very strong resistance system, heart rate monitor, and a comfortable, highly padded and easily adjustable seat that sits a little higher than most for easier mounting and dismounting.
On top of that you get plenty of motivational features such as the iPod/MP3 player jack and built in speakers (so you can select your favorite workout music), 30 Built-In workout programs and iFit Card technology for additional workout routines. Then finally, you get NordicTrack's Premiere Warranty on this recumbent.

The main thing that you do not get with the NordicTrack Commercial VR (and one of the reasons that it is priced lower than newer models) is the newer iFit Live technology. There are some very nice features that come with iFit Live technology but you will need to pay a fee for the iFit.com account in order to use it. One of the advantages of iFit Card technology (which is series of workouts, designed by professional trainers, that are available on SD cards which are loaded into the iFit card slot) is that there are no ongoing fees to use it. Once you purchase the workout cards, you can use them forever.
And, of course, you can always use the 30 Built-In Workout programs that come with this exercise bike for FREE at any time.
NordicTrack exercise bikes are manufactured by Icon Fitness, the largest fitness equipment manufacturer in the world, which gives them some advantages to offer more for less. NordicTrack recumbent bikes are sold online and at Sears which also gives them the advantage of brand name popularity.

The NordicTrack Commercial VR Recumbent is a very comfortable and sturdy recumbent exercise bike that is selling at a very reasonable price. You get an excellent NordicTrack warranty and plenty of options for variety and motivation with the iPod/MP3 music jack and speakers, the 30 built-in workout programs and the option for even more workout options with the iFit Card technology.
I also like that the seat sits a little higher for easier mounting and dismounting and that you have the upper and lower handle bar positions.
For comparison and/or if you need some additional motivational features, the Livestrong LS7.0B Recumbent Exercise Bike, allows you to track your workout data on the internet for free via the MyPlate feature and is in the same price range.
Note: Tracking your workout data on the internet can be very motivational especially if you share the data with your family and friends who may also be working on their own goals.

"This is the most use I have ever had out of a piece of excersize equipment. It works smooth and quiet. It took me 3 hours to assemble by myself and I figured that that was part of the exercise that I would get."
