Livestrong U1x Commercial Upright Bike Review
The Livestrong U1x Exercise Bike is Livestrong's commercial grade upright exercise bike. The Livestrong by Matrix products are usually sold in the fitness club environment but this exercise bike can also be purchased online for your home, office or work place workout rooms.
Aside from the commercial durability of this fitness bike, a few of the key features of this bike are the self-powered generator system, the quick-zip pedal straps and the race-inspired handle bars with contoured elbow rests.
Serious cyclists will usually prefer an Indoor Cycle for their training and workouts but with Lance Armstrong's influence on the Livestrong products, I believe that the Livestrong U1XLS Upright Exercise Bike could just as well be used for serious indoor training and cycling workouts, as for general fitness and weight loss.

The Livestrong U1x Handlebars
 The race styled handlebars, with the elbow rests give individuals and multiple users of this exercise bike a number of different hand and upper body positions.
I discussed Lance Armstrong's influence on the Livestrong exercise bikes (in addition to his visits to Johnson Fitness (the maker of Livestrong fitness equipment)) with the managers at the Johnson Fitness headquarters on my recent trip there to review Livestrong exercise bikes and indoor cycles.
Although Lance does not design Livestrong exercise bikes, he does have quite a bit of influence on the company, its products and its relationship with the Livestrong Foundation. Personally, the design of this exercise bike, and especially the handlebars, looks to me like it has some of Lance Armstrong's influence.

If you need a high quality commercial grade upright exercise bike, with some additional options that are not even available on other commercial grade exercise bikes, then the Livestrong U1x Upright Exercise Bike is an excellent choice.
This exercise bike is very durable, can handle up to 6 hours of use each day and also has a 400 lb weight capacity. Even if you weigh much less this should give you an indication of how rock solid this exercise bike is.
On the negative side, the price is high when compared to products in the home market or sporting goods categories but this would be expected if you were to compare products in these two very different categories.
