A nice wooded and downhill entrance into Deer Grove East...
Coming out into Deer Grove East, just before the 2.9 mile loop (with
of plenty of human animals on weekends and nice days...(joggers, roller bladers,
walkers, other bikers...(actually it doesn't usually get that crowded compared to some of
the other trails in the area (Busse Woods comes to mind...))
Here's one of the nice open sections of the DG East loop...
A section by the RC model airplane field... The RC
planes can be pretty entertaining to watch... I have actually seen 2 of them crash while
riding by (This is not an everyday thing, but I ride this trail a lot and just happend to
be there when it happened... twice!). Keep thoses helmets on here... :-)
