Elgin Branch (from the Fox River Trail) to the Geneva Spur and back to Geneva
(Click on any of the bike trail photos to enlarge)

This is a nice area on the IPP, Geneva Spur.

At this point the Geneva Spur goes along the sidewalks in a subdivision.

Riding the sidewalks into West Chicago.

We stopped at a McDonalds for a quick snack along a terribly busy intersection (I think that it was Route 59) and had to ride along some busy roads again (probably the worst part of the Geneva Spur). Above we are back on to the IPP again.

The path opens up into some nice (almost Prairie) areas here...

Here's the Illinois Prairie Path Photo tour on the Elgin Branch (from the Fox River Trail) to the Geneva Spur (just past Prince Road Crossing) back to the Fox River Trail at Geneva - September 2007.
