Algonquin Road Trail - Photos 8
From Palatine to Penny Road, South Barrington

There's a nice little lake hidden away on the right here...
This is coming up to the end of the trail...
Here's the end of the Algonquin Road bike trail at Penny Road.
Here's Penny Road (the sun is just starting to set in this picture...). You can extend
your ride here but as you see the road is fairly narrow and you don't have that much of a
shoulder... Traffic is usually not real bad here so it's not a bad road trip, although
personally I usually prefer trails to being on the road... There are some beautiful houses
to see in this area...
