So I had to get a few photos of this... It was really a nice scenic area by Lake Michigan...

That's Dale in the distance at the scenic lookout area...

This photo shows how the bike path runs right along side the beach...

This is me (in the distance) riding along Lake Michigan... What a beautiful place to ride on a hot summer day...

Here's a close up of the rocky shore of the lake...

This is a common site on this part of the Illinois State Beach Bike Path... I would highly recommend this ride!
