The bike path goes alongside a fairly busy highway at this point (as you can see)...
but it gets back into some more scenic areas just south of here...
We took a little side trip (east) to check out Lake Michigan here.
It is a VERY steep drop off here to some public utilities building....
OK, it wasn't the most beautiful day out at the lake (Lake Michigan), but I wanted to
get a shot of my old hybrid (Trek 7300fx) by the lake. I'm glad that I did, now, since I
only had this bike for about a year and don't have a lot of pictures of it (I'm back to a
road bike again now... (Trek 1500)).
Here's Dale making his way back up from the lake... Neither one of us could actually
ride up this incline... (yes, I have the camera horizontal... this was not done with trick
photography! :-) )
