ProForm 320 SPX Indoor Cycle Review
Aerobar Shaped Handlebars for More Riding Positions

The Aerobar Shaped (or pitchfork shaped) Handlebars of the Proform 320SPX give you more riding positions for a more comfortable, realistic and productive ride allowing you the option to train or workout longer and harder, and with less fatigue, than you would with non-aerobar shaped handlebars. Proform 320 SPX Indoor Cycle

The 320SPX is Proform's new Lost Cost Training Bike with Aerobar Shaped Handlebars and Chain Drive. This Indoor Cycle is very similar to the extremely popular Proform 290 SPX in most ways except for the more advanced Aerobar-Shaped handlebars.

The Proform 320 SPX is a sturdy, fully adjustable Indoor Cycle with a 44lb Flywheel, 250 lb Weight Capacity, Chain Drive System, Commercial Grade Steel Frame, Transport Wheels and a Good Warranty.

This is a rugged Indoor Cycle that can handle just about any level or training or workout.  Simply adjust the resistance to any level with a easy turn of the resistance knob above the wheel. The pedals are constantly turning while the flywheel is moving (as with most traditional Indoor Cycles) for a better aerobic workout. Press the red braking lever to engage the Quick-Stop Braking System.

Note: The Proform 320 SPX is currently unavailable (was selling for $412 indirectly from Amazon.) See Proform 320 SPX Indoor Cycle  for the latest reviews and availability.

Proform Indoor Cycle Comparisons

At the time of this review, the Proform 320 SPX is one of the newest Indoor Cycles offered by Proform. It can be difficult to stay on top of this since Proform releases new products often and they have traditionally had a good selection of Training Bikes.

The newest Proform indoor cycle releases will usually be at the Proform.com site first then later they are often available on Amazon (kind of like when rock stars hit the carnival circuit :-)).

Currently the Proform 320 SPX falls between the lower cost Proform 290 SPX and the more expensive Proform 590 SPX. As I mentioned above, the 320SPX is similar to the 290SPX in most ways except for the more advanced Aerobar-Shaped handlebars.

The Proform 490 SPX and Proform 590 SPX are more advanced (and more expensive) in that they both come with electronic consoles and heart-rate monitors. The 590SPX also has the Aerobar shaped handlebars where the 490SPX does not.

So really, when it comes to Indoor Cycles you really have a good selection from Proform.

ProForm indoor cycles are manufactured by Icon Fitness which is the same company as Nordic Track and they can often offer more for less. Proform produces very good mid-range indoor cycles that are backed up with very good warranties.

Indoor Cycles, including the ProForm 320 SPX Indoor Cycle are more similar to traditional road bikes, provide an more intense low impact, aerobic exercise and are more compact and cheaper than other home fitness equipment.

About-Bicycles Review:

The ProForm 320 SPX is a good low cost indoor cycle for serious indoor training and workouts. Proform Spin Bike Handlebars

When I compared this bike to the Proform 290SPX (side by side), the feature that stood out on the 320SPX was the Aerobar styled (pitchfork shaped) handlebars.
