 The LS5.0U Upright Exercise Bike is a well designed, comfortable, sturdy, and durable upright exercise bike that can handle a good workout.
On top of that, the LS5.0U Upright comes with plenty of motivational features that allow you to listen to music as you workout, track your progress, download new routines (for FREE), save all of your workout stats and stay motivated.
I was impressed with the stability and smooth riding motion of all the new Livestrong models when I visited the Livestrong headquarters (Johnson Fitness in Cottage Grove, Wi.) and was particularly impressed with the Livetrack option and USB port that are available on many of the new models (including the LS5.0U).
The Livetrack option allows you to upload your workout data (to the free Livestrong MyPlate site), download new professional trainer workouts (also free) and update the exercise bikes console with upgrades and improvements from the Livestrong site as they become available.

Livetrack Interactive and MyPlate
As mentioned above, the Livetrack Interactive technology allows you to upload and download apps and information to your exercise bike via a USB port.
The workout data that you have uploaded can then be combined with your MyPlate information to be shared with friends (via Facebook), if you choose, or downloaded to your own personal computer via Excel and/or CSV files.
If you are not familiar with MyPlate, this is a free service offered on the Livestrong website that allows you to track your food and calorie intake along with your exercise and workout information.
Anyone can use the Livestrong MyPlate service (and share calorie and workout information with their friends, if they choose). I have signed up for this service myself and it works well and is very easy to use.
The Livetrack Interactive technology (included with Livestrong exercise bikes) allows you to automatically upload your workout data to your computer via a USB port rather than manually entering it into the website.
You can also download your workout data from the MyPlate site (for FREE) in Excel and/or CSV data files which you can then keep on your own personal computer forever. There is currently a summary download and a detail download available.

About-Bicycles Review
The stability and smooth motion of this exercise bike is obvious right away. The seat is very comfortable and fully adjustable (vertically and horizontally). The handlebars allow multiple riding positions which adds to the overall comfort of this upright bike.
If you like tracking you workouts and progress and/or sharing this information with friends and family, there is really nothing on the market that compares to the Livestrong Interactive feature.
Many exercise bikes have some workout tracking features built into the console of the exercise bike but the tracking is very limited and very few have anyway to move this data off of the exercise bike in order to keep more permanent records.
Some brands (Nordic Track for example) have tracking and communication between their fitness equipment and the internet but they charge an annual fee for this service. The Livetrack and Myplate service, on the other hand, is totally free.
The LS5.0U is an excellent choice at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this exercise bike for anyone looking for a high quality upright fitness bike.
