OK, here is where the purple path branches off to the right (which is the direction that I took first) and goes to the Elk Grove community bridge (that crosses route 355) and goes along Beisner road and off to the left to continue the red trail loop back to the Elk Herd.

You can go right out to a cement landing on the laker off to the right here....

You get another nice view of the other side of the lake on this section..

This is where you are going parallel to Beisner road (coming up to Alexian Brothers hospital).

I went past this leg first (to the end of the trail (pretty much anyway), then cam back to do the Elk Grove Community Bridge.

This is where the path ends at Alexian Brothers... (at Beisner and Biesterfield roads...)
