Just to give you a little perspective of where we are... you can see the signs (on Higgins) as you approach routes 53 and 290.

Here's mile marker 6 back into the woods again...

I just thought it was interesting that you have the combination of woods, meadows, streams and lakes surrounded by these large suburban buildings and shopping centers, etc.

OK, back to nature again...

Here is where the path splits off to the north (right - the black trail) and goes along Route 53 and then along side route 58 (Golf Road) and to the south mostly (left - the red trail loop), and crosses route 72. I took the black trail (north or right) first...

Here's where the black trail (going north at this point) comes out of the woods and into the open fields.
